NCT Medway Baby & Child first aid

Build confidence in caring for your baby or young child with this focused Baby and Child First Aid course, run by NCT Medway and delivered by Mini First Aid. In a practical, interactive two hour session you will learn essential life saving skills and how to cope with common childhood injuries and emergencies, including choking, burns, cuts, CPR and signs of meningitis. The course is designed to give parents and carers clear, calm guidance so you can act quickly if the unexpected happens.

The session begins at 11:00, with doors open from 10:45 so you can grab a drink and meet other parents and parents to be. Non-mobile babies are welcome to attend, but older babies and children cannot be accommodated due to the nature of the activities. Mini First Aid trainers are quality assured and work in partnership with recognised bodies such as the First Aid Industry Body, the Childrens Burns Trust, the Meningitis Research Foundation and the Sepsis Trust, meaning the teaching reflects current medical guidance.

By the end of the workshop you will leave feeling empowered, reassured and better prepared to respond to an emergency. This friendly, hands-on course is an ideal way to gain practical skills and peace of mind for new and expectant parents in the Medway area.
