NCT Medway Nearly New Sale

Discover bargains and sustainable finds at the NCT Medway Nearly New Sale held at Rainham Mark Grammar School. This popular community event brings together around 50 to 60 sellers offering good-quality preloved baby and childrens clothes, toys, books, maternity wear and equipment. Items are displayed like a pop-up shop and arranged in categories to make shopping quick and simple for the 100+ visitors who come through the doors.

The sale is run entirely by volunteers and supports new and expectant parents locally. NCT members get early access at 1pm with valid membership proof, and shoppers can pay by cash, card or contactless at the tills. There is no haggling; sellers label items with descriptions and prices and proceeds are paid to sellers by bank transfer after the NCT commission has been deducted. Commission starts at 30 percent and can be reduced to 15 percent depending on volunteering hours.

The venue is family friendly with toilets, changing facilities and step-free access. A feeding cafe will be serving cakes and drinks, there is a free car park on site and public transport links with buses and a nearby train station. Sellers can enter up to 100 items, drop off is on Saturday morning (usually around 10am) and collection of unsold items is in the afternoon (usually around 4pm).
