Give your child the chance to discover street dance in this lively paid trial class for 6 to 11 year olds in Gillingham. USDD KIDS offers high-quality street dance training with a French-influenced approach, teaching core technique, rhythm and stage presence from the very first session. Classes cover a wide range of street styles including Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, House, Breaking, Litefeet, Afro and Commercial, so beginners can explore different genres and build confidence on the floor.
Sessions are led by experienced coaches Lexi Maize and Lyndon, all fully DBS checked, and take place at The Academy of Woodlands, Woodlands Road, Gillingham, Kent ME7 2DU. Classes run for 1 hour 30 minutes and are designed to develop dancers, choreographers and even future teachers. Students also have opportunities to perform on stage, compete nationally, audition for special projects and take part in commercial castings and creative collaborations.
USDD run a Fast Track programme for those with standout potential, which includes competitions, theatre performances and showcase opportunities. There are monthly awards such as Most Valuable Dancer, and limited spaces in beginner classes, so early booking is recommended.
