Give your child the chance to discover street dance with USDD KIDS in Gillingham. Designed for 6 to 11 year olds, these beginner-friendly classes build core technique, rhythm and confidence while exploring styles such as hip hop, popping, locking, house, breaking, litefeet, afro and commercial. Each session focuses on musicality, stage presence and creative choreography so students progress as performers as well as movers.
Classes are led by experienced, DBS-checked coaches Lexi Maize and Lyndon, and run for 1 hour 30 minutes at The Academy of Woodlands, Woodlands Road, Gillingham, ME7 2DU. The academy offers opportunities to perform on stage, compete at national events, audition for special projects and take part in commercial castings and showcases. Students who show standout potential can audition for the Fast Track programme for intermediate training, competitions and theatre performances.
Spaces for beginner courses are limited and some classes already have waiting lists, so booking early is recommended. All venues are COVID-safe and compliant with current guidance. Dress code is comfortable active wear such as joggers, tracksuits or leggings and students should bring water.
