Passaggio Vocal Award 2026

Join the KaMYM Trust for the Passaggio Vocal Award 2026, a vocal masterclass and public performance opportunity held at the Glassbox Theatre, MidKent College Medway Campus in Gillingham. The masterclass is designed for singers aged 16 to 25 from any genre and gives participants the chance to work with an expert master teacher, develop technique and stagecraft, and perform in front of an invited audience.

Audience tickets are available to observe the session, making this a great event for aspiring vocalists, music teachers and fans of live vocal performance who want to see professional coaching in action. Singers perform one or more well rehearsed pieces while receiving constructive feedback and demonstration from the master teacher, offering a rare learning experience whether you attend as a performer or an observer.

The workshop culminates in the Passaggio Vocal Award, with an award of up to £200 for outstanding participants. Standard audience tickets are charged, while children aged 18 and under can attend free with a ticket so that the organisers can manage venue capacity.
