The Pet Pals sessions introduce younger children to pet behaviour and wellbeing, helping them learn how every animal is different and how to tell when a pet is happy, comfortable or a little stressed.
Ideal for children aged 4 to 10, the workshop is hands-on and supervised by experienced Pet Care Advisors. Young attendees will meet small animals, take a fun quiz to test their pet knowledge, enjoy colouring activities and receive an official Pet Pals certificate, sticker and character headband. Activity sheets are provided so the learning and creativity can continue at home.
Places are limited to ensure the safety and comfort of the animals, and one adult must accompany each child. Registration must be completed by an adult on behalf of all attendees, and parents should inform the store of any allergies or sensitivities before attending. The event is held in-store at Pets at Home Chatham and is designed to build confidence, encourage responsible pet ownership and make this Easter holiday both fun and educational for children.
