Pet Pals - Easter

Bring your child to Pet Pals - Easter at Pets at Home Gillingham on Monday 6 April 2026 at 2:00 pm for a fun, educational Easter holiday workshop. These free in-store sessions are designed to help children explore different pet personalities and learn how to spot when an animal is happy, comfortable or feeling a little stressed. The friendly Pet Care Advisors lead safe, supervised activities so youngsters can enjoy hands-on time with animals in a calm environment.

Children will take part in practical activities, a fun quiz to test their pet knowledge and creative colouring, all designed to build confidence and encourage responsible pet ownership. By the end of the session each child receives an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the learning at home. The workshop explains how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing and gives simple tips for looking after pets.

Sessions are aimed at pet lovers aged 4 to 10 years. Places are limited to one adult per child to ensure enough space for everyone and to avoid spooking the animals. Registration must be completed by an adult over 18 and parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times and advising staff of any allergies or sensitivities.
