Join the Pet Pals for a free Easter holiday workshop at Pets at Home Gillingham on Tuesday 7 April 2026 at 2:00 pm. Designed for pet lovers aged 4 to 10 years, this in-store session is a hands-on introduction to pet behaviour and wellbeing, led by experienced Pet Care Advisors.
Children will learn how every animal is different and how to spot when a pet is feeling happy, comfy or a little stressed. Activities include getting hands-on with friendly animals, taking a fun pet quiz to test knowledge, and creative colouring. By the end of the workshop participants will understand how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing, helping to build confidence and encourage responsible pet ownership.
Each child will receive an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the learning at home. Sessions are geared specifically towards younger children and are safe, supervised and most of all fun. Places are limited to allow enough room for everyone, so there is a one adult per child policy and registration must be completed by an adult aged 18 or over.
