Pet Pals - Easter

Join Pets at Home Chatham on Wednesday 8 April 2026 at 2:00 pm for a free Pet Pals Easter workshop designed for children aged 4 to 10 years. These fun, in-store sessions introduce young pet lovers to different animal personalities and simple ways to recognise when a pet is happy, comfy or a little stressed. With guidance from experienced petcare advisors, children will learn how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing and how responsible care builds confidence.

Sessions are hands-on where possible, giving children the chance to meet animals safely, take a light-hearted quiz to test their pet knowledge and get creative with colouring and activity sheets. Every participant will go home with an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband to celebrate their learning. The content and activities are specifically tailored to younger children and run under close supervision to keep both kids and animals safe.

Places are limited to ensure room for everyone and to avoid spooking the animals, and each child should be accompanied by one adult. Registration must be completed by an adult aged 18 or over, and parents or guardians should advise the store of any allergies or sensitivities before attending.
