Pet Pals - Easter

Bring your little pet lover to Pets at Home Sittingbourne for the Pet Pals Easter workshop on Thursday 9 April 2026 at 2:00 pm. These free, in-store sessions are designed for children aged 4 to 10 and use hands-on activities to introduce pet personalities and behaviour. Children will learn how to spot when a pet is happy, comfortable or feeling stressed, building empathy and confidence in handling animals.

Activities include supervised time with friendly animals, a fun quiz to test pet knowledge, and creative colouring and crafts. By exploring how different pets like to live, participants discover how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing. Every child leaves with an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the learning at home.

Sessions are safe and supervised, with places limited to avoid spooking the animals. To keep things calm, entry is limited to one adult per child and registration must be completed by an adult organiser. Parents and guardians are asked to inform staff of any allergies or sensitivities and to supervise their child throughout the workshop.
