Join the Pet Pals this Easter at Pets at Home Sittingbourne for a free, fun and educational workshop on Thursday 2 April 2026 at 2:00pm. Designed for children aged 4 to 10 years, this in-store session helps young pet lovers learn how every animal is different and how to spot when a pet is happy, comfortable or a little stressed. It is a great way to spend part of the school holiday and build confidence around animals.
Children will get hands-on time with small animals under the supervision of trusted Pet Care Advisors, take a light-hearted quiz to test their pet knowledge, and enjoy creative activities including colouring. Each participant will leave with an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker, a character headband and activity sheets to continue the learning at home. The workshop focuses on pet wellbeing and responsible ownership, teaching children how the right environment supports an animal's needs.
Places are free but limited to help keep animals calm, and we ask that adults register on behalf of children. Sessions are supervised and each child should be accompanied by one adult. Parents and guardians must check for allergies or sensitivities and inform store staff if needed. To secure a place, pick Sittingbourne and your preferred time slot and complete registration online. These family-friendly workshops are a safe, enjoyable way to introduce children to pet care this Easter.
