Pet Pals - Easter

Join Pet Pals - Easter at Pets at Home Chatham on Wednesday 15 April 2026 at 2:00 PM for a free, family-friendly in-store workshop designed for children aged 4 to 10. This Easter holiday session explores pet personalities and behaviour in a safe, supervised setting so younger pet lovers can learn how to spot when an animal is happy, comfortable or a little stressed.

Children will get hands-on with animals under the guidance of our Pet Care Advisors, take a fun quiz to test their pet knowledge and enjoy creative activities such as colouring. By the end of the session participants will understand how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing, building confidence and encouraging responsible pet ownership. Every child will receive an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the learning at home.

Places are limited to one adult per child to ensure room for everyone and to avoid spooking the animals, and registration must be completed by an adult organiser. Parents and guardians should supervise their child throughout and notify the store of any allergies or sensitivities before attending.
