Pet Pals - Easter

Bring your little pet lover to Pets at Home Chatham this Easter for Pet Pals, a free, hands-on holiday workshop designed for children aged 4 to 10. On Thursday 16 April 2026 at 2:00pm our Pet Care Advisors will guide youngsters through playful activities that teach how different animals behave and how to spot when a pet is happy, comfortable or feeling stressed. Sessions include gentle handling of animals, a fun quiz to test pet knowledge and creative colouring to take home.

By the end of the session children will understand how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing and will gain confidence in responsible pet care. Each participant receives an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker, a character headband and activity sheets to continue the learning at home. Places are limited to keep the sessions safe and calm, and we allow one adult per child to ensure proper supervision.

Registration must be completed by an adult over 18 and parents or guardians are responsible for checking and declaring any allergies or sensitivities, including nut or animal allergies. If a workshop cannot go ahead you will be notified by email. Pets at Home reserves the right to change or remove participants if safety guidelines are not followed.
