Pet Pals - Easter

Join the Pet Pals this Easter at Pets at Home Gillingham for a free, fun and educational workshop on Thursday 16 April 2026 at 2:00pm. Designed for families during the school holidays, this Pet Pals session helps children discover how different animals behave, what makes a pet feel happy and comfortable, and how to spot when an animal is feeling stressed.

Children will get hands-on time with friendly animals under the supervision of trained Pet Care Advisors, take a lively quiz to test their new knowledge, and enjoy creative activities such as colouring. By the end of the workshop participants will have a better understanding of how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing, encouraging confidence and responsible pet ownership. Every child leaves with an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the learning at home.

Sessions are aimed at younger children and are safe and supervised throughout. Places are limited to ensure the animals are not overwhelmed, and each child must be accompanied by one adult.
