Pet Pals - Easter

Join Pet Pals - Easter at Pets at Home Chatham on Saturday 18 April 2026 at 2:00 PM for a free, hands-on Easter holiday workshop for young pet lovers. Designed for children aged 4 to 10 years, the session introduces pet behaviour and personalities so kids can learn how to spot when an animal is happy, comfortable or a little stressed. With the support of experienced Pet Care Advisors, participants will get up close with animals, take part in a fun quiz to test their pet knowledge and enjoy creative activities such as colouring and themed crafts.

By the end of the workshop children will understand how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing, building confidence and encouraging responsible pet ownership. Each child will receive an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker, a character headband and activity sheets to continue the learning at home. Sessions are free, supervised and designed specifically for younger children, with places limited to one adult per child to ensure the animals do not become spooked. Registration must be completed by an adult over 18 and parents or guardians should inform staff of any allergies or sensitivities before attending.
