Pet Pals - Easter

Join Pets at Home Chatham for a free Pet Pals Easter workshop on Sunday 19 April 2026 at 2:00 PM, a hands-on session perfect for curious young pet lovers during the school holiday. These family-friendly workshops explore pet personalities and behaviour so children can learn how different animals show they are happy, comfortable or a little stressed.

Activities are designed for children aged 4 to 10 and include supervised handling of animals with guidance from a Pet Care Advisor, a fun pet knowledge quiz and colouring to spark creativity. By the end of the session participants will understand how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing and gain confidence in responsible pet care. Every child receives an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker, a character headband and activity sheets to take home.

Places are limited to one adult per child to keep animals calm and ensure everyone can take part safely. Registration must be completed by an adult over 18 and parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children and declaring any allergies or sensitivities. Follow the store team’s instructions at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for both children and animals.
