Pet Pals - Easter

Join Pets at Home Maidstone for a free Pet Pals Easter workshop on Friday 10 April 2026 at 2:00 PM. Designed for children aged 4 to 10, this hands-on session explores pet personalities and behaviour, helping young animal lovers learn how to spot when a pet is happy, comfortable or feeling stressed.

With guidance from experienced petcare advisors, children will meet small animals, take a fun quiz to test their pet knowledge and enjoy colouring and creative activities. Each participant receives an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue learning at home. To keep sessions safe and calm for the animals, places are limited and bookings allow one adult per child.

The workshop encourages responsible pet ownership and builds confidence by showing how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing. Registration must be completed by an adult over 18 and parents should inform staff of any allergies or sensitivities before attending. These free in-store sessions are part of Pets at Home's Easter holiday programme and are ideal for families looking for a supervised, educational and enjoyable activity.
