Pet Pals - Easter

Join the Pet Pals this Easter at Pets at Home Maidstone for a free, family-friendly workshop on Saturday 11 April 2026 at 2:00pm. Designed for children aged 4 to 10 years, this hands-on session uses play and simple activities to teach kids about pet behaviour, wellbeing and responsible pet ownership. It is a perfect Easter holiday activity for young animal lovers.

During the session children will meet small animals under the guidance of our trusted Pet Care Advisors, take a fun quiz to test their pet knowledge, and get creative with colouring and activity sheets. Each participant will receive an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband to take home. By the end of the workshop children will be better able to spot when a pet is happy, comfy or a little stressed, and understand how the right environment supports animal welfare.

Places are free but limited, with a maximum of one adult per child to ensure a safe, supervised experience for both families and animals. Registration must be completed by an adult aged 18 or over and parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising their children and advising the store of any allergies.
