Pet Pals - Easter

Bring your little pet lover to Pet Pals - Easter at Pets at Home Gillingham on Saturday 11 April 2026 at 2:00 pm for a free, fun and educational workshop. Designed for children aged 4 to 10 years, this hands-on session explores pet personalities and behaviour so youngsters can learn how to spot when an animal is happy, comfortable or feeling stressed. With guidance from our trusted pet care advisors, children will meet in-store animals, take a playful quiz to test their pet knowledge and enjoy colouring activities that reinforce responsible pet ownership.

By the end of the workshop your child will understand how the right environment supports an animal's wellbeing and gain confidence in handling pets safely. Each participant receives an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the fun at home. Sessions are supervised and tailored for younger children, with places limited to one adult per child to keep animals calm and ensure a safe experience. Spaces are free but must be booked in advance, so pick Pets at Home Gillingham and your preferred time slot to secure a place. Please note that registration must be completed by an adult and that parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children throughout the workshop.
