Pet Pals - Easter

Bring the family to Pets at Home Chatham for a free Pet Pals Easter workshop on Saturday 11 April 2026 at 2:00 PM. This fun, educational session is designed for children aged 4 to 10 years and will introduce young pet lovers to animal personalities, behaviour and how to spot when a pet is happy, comfortable or feeling stressed. Places are limited, so booking a slot for the Easter holiday session is recommended.

During the workshop children will get hands on with animals under the supervision of a trained Pet Care Advisor, take part in a quiz to test their pet knowledge and enjoy creative colouring activities. Each participant will receive an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue learning at home. Sessions are safe and supervised, and to protect the animals there is a limit of one adult per child.

This free in-store event helps build confidence and encourages responsible pet ownership by teaching practical, age appropriate tips on pet wellbeing and handling. Adults must register on behalf of attendees and ensure any allergies or sensitivities are declared before the session.
