Pet Pals - February Half-Term Workshop

Join Pets at Home Gillingham for the Pet Pals February half-term workshop, a free, hands-on session for young animal fans on Sunday 22 February 2026 at 2:00 pm. Designed for children aged 4 to 10 years, this in-store Pet Pals event explores pet behaviour and the importance of play in keeping animals happy and healthy. It is a great way for little pet lovers to learn about responsible pet care in a friendly, supervised environment.

During the workshop, participants will meet store animals with guidance from trained Pet Care Advisors, discover which toys make pets jump for joy and take part in a creative activity where they design a toy of their own. Each child will receive an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the fun at home. Sessions are crafted to be safe and engaging, with a limit of one adult per child to keep animals calm and ensure everyone has space to take part.
