Pet Pals - February Half-Term Workshop

Join Pets at Home Maidstone this February half-term for a free Pet Pals workshop designed for young animal lovers. The session on Sunday 22 February 2026 at 2:00 pm offers hands-on, supervised activities where children can learn about pet behaviour, safe handling and the importance of play for animal wellbeing. During the workshop, Pet Care Advisors guide participants through interactive games to discover which toys pets enjoy most, then help them design and make their own toy. The activities are suitable for children and focus on building confidence and encouraging responsible pet ownership in a fun, supported setting.

Every attendee receives an official Pet Pals certificate, a sticker and a character headband, plus activity sheets to continue the fun at home. Sessions are aimed at pet lovers aged 4 to 10 years and places are limited to one adult per child to ensure a safe environment for both participants and animals.

Registration must be completed by an adult over 18 and parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the event.
