Pet Pals – October half-term

Bring little pet lovers to Pets at Home Sittingbourne on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 11:00 AM for a free Pet Pals October half-term workshop. Designed for ages 4 and up, this spook-tacular session combines hands-on fun with gentle learning about animals and how to keep them calm and comfortable. Book your free place today to avoid disappointment.

Trusted petcare advisors will lead games, activities and short talks to help children spot when a pet might be feeling nervous and learn safe ways to help. Participants will meet some friendly animals, discover surprising facts about unusual pets and take part in supervised handling where appropriate. Every child will receive an official Pet Pals certificate and sticker, along with colouring sheets to keep the fun going at home.

Workshops are specifically geared towards younger children and are safe and supervised. To protect the animals and ensure space for everyone, places are limited and it is one adult per child. An adult over 18 must complete registration on behalf of all attendees, and parents should notify staff of any allergies or sensitivities before the session. Pets at Home reserves the right to make changes or cancel if necessary. Book early to secure this free, family-friendly activity during the October half-term.
