Join a practical community workshop to shape Rainham's future at St. Margaret's Millennium Centre. Rainham Reimagined invites residents and business representatives to help create a clear vision and action plan for Rainham Town Centre. The first session takes place on Wednesday 1 April, with a second workshop scheduled for Wednesday 13 May. You do not need to have attended earlier meetings to take part, and everyone with ideas for the town centre is welcome.
Last year the council worked with Tuckey Design Consultants on a feasibility study that explored how public spaces in Rainham could be improved. This next stage will turn that research into a prioritised list of projects and an actionable plan to guide which improvements happen first. Some early works are expected to be funded through S106 developer contributions. These workshops are an opportunity to suggest practical improvements, discuss themes for the town centre and agree the projects that matter most to local people and businesses.
Bring your local knowledge and help decide how Rainham can become an even better place to live, work, learn and visit. Your input will directly inform the vision and the next steps for regeneration in the town centre.
