Ray Bradshaw: CODA

Thu, 30 Apr 2026 19:00 PM - 23:00 PM

Overview

See multi award winning comedian Ray Bradshaw live at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone on 30th April 2026 with his new show CODA. Drawing on his childhood as a Child of Deaf Adults, Ray turns family life, sign language and everyday misunderstandings into sharp, warm and endlessly funny stand up. The show explores what it is like to grow up in a household where sign language is the first language and where the rules of communication are anything but ordinary.

CODA is both heartfelt and laugh out loud funny, from stories about his dad closing his eyes to win an argument to family games that go spectacularly wrong. Every performance will include a British Sign Language interpreter to ensure the comedy is accessible to deaf audience members and their families. If you enjoyed Ray's previous work, including Deaf Com One and Doppelginger, you will recognise his trademark mix of observational humour and personal storytelling.

Ray has toured internationally and has supported John Bishop on his UK arena tour, with critics and crowds praising his stagecraft and warm persona. Tickets are available through official sellers and venues. Book early to secure seats for an evening of clever, compassionate and brilliantly delivered stand up at one of Maidstone's most intimate theatres.
