Join a varied and scenic circular walk from Hollingbourne Station on 13 May 2026, exploring riverside paths, woodland trails and the parkland of historic Leeds Castle. This roughly 14.7 km (9.1 mile) Hollingbourne loop follows the River Len, crosses a picturesque weir and passes the tucked-away St Margaret's Church, offering classic Kentish countryside views within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The walk is classed as intermediate with approximately 197 metres of total ascent across gently rolling hills. Meeting time is 10:00 for a 10:15 prompt start at Hollingbourne station, Eythorne Street, Hollingbourne, Kent, ME17 1TX. Parking is available at the station and on Station Approach but parking charges are not included. The walk is led by Rachel and friendly dogs are welcome; please keep them on a lead where required and ensure you are responsible for your pet. Cost is £7 per person. Please come prepared with suitable footwear such as walking boots or sturdy shoes, waterproof clothing, drinking water, a snack and any personal medication. Do not attend if you have COVID symptoms. Cancellations made at least four days before the event will receive a credit note valid for 90 days. Photographs may be taken for promotional use; advise the leader if you prefer not to be included.
