About this event

Join the Rustic Reindeer Workshop at Milton Creek Country Park and make your own festive reindeer using natural materials sourced from the park. This hands-on craft session is perfect for families and anyone who enjoys simple seasonal projects. You will be guided through assembling a rustic reindeer using a kit and locally gathered parts, making a unique decoration to take home.

Kits cost £15 each and will be available on the day, so please book in advance if you need a kit. The activity takes place in Space, the new community building at the park, with some parts of the session potentially outdoors, so please wrap up warm. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and the workshop is designed to be accessible for adults and older children working together.

While you craft, the Friends of Milton Creek will be running a small stall with handmade Christmas gifts and decorations for sale to raise funds to help equip Space@MiltonCreek. The event is a lovely way to enjoy a winter afternoon, support a community cause and leave with a handmade keepsake. Bring warm clothing for outdoor parts of the session and a sense of creativity.
