Saturday Music Centre

Saturday Music Centre at Rainham Mark Grammar welcomes young musicians aged 5 to 18 for friendly, inclusive sessions that suit all abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced player, these Saturday gatherings are designed to build confidence, develop musical skills and enjoy making music with others in a supportive setting.

Sessions take place in the Sixth Form Block at Rainham Mark Grammar School on Pump Lane, Rainham, Gillingham, Kent ME8 7AJ. Attendees can expect a mix of group workshops, ensemble playing and opportunities to try new repertoire, work on technique and meet fellow young musicians from the local area. The centre is run by Medway Music Association and focuses on positive learning, teamwork and musical enjoyment.

Joining is a great way to grow as a performer, gain experience playing in groups and explore different instruments and styles.
