Silver Jewellery Making Workshop

Sun, 08 Mar 2026 10:00 AM - 13:00 PM

Saffron Way, Sittingbourne, ME10 2EX

Overview

Spend a relaxing Sunday morning at Milton Creek Country Park and learn how to make your own silver jewellery in this hands-on Silver Clay Jewellery Making Workshop. Perfect for beginners, the session introduces you to the magical material that is silver clay, made from pure silver particles and an organic binder. No experience is required and you will be guided through every stage from planning your design to the finished piece.

During the workshop you will explore texture and shaping techniques, make moulds from natural items such as shells and leaves, and discover how to sand and finish your designs. An expert tutor will demonstrate the firing process and you will be able to watch your piece transform as the binder burns away leaving pure silver. Participants can make one to two charms depending on size, which can be finished as a necklace or drop earrings and taken home ready to wear or gift to someone special.

This is a mindful, creative session that suits anyone wanting a relaxed, creative morning outdoors with practical, skill-based tuition. It is ideal if you are curious about jewellery making or want to try a new craft in a friendly small-group setting. Places are limited, so book your spot to enjoy a creative and rewarding introduction to silver clay jewellery making.
