Spring Fused Glass Workshop

Join us at Belmont House and Gardens in Throwley, Faversham for a Spring Fused Glass Workshop that introduces the basics of glass fusing and lets you create two unique pieces in a relaxed, hands-on session. Designed for beginners and those new to the craft, this workshop guides you through cutting, layering and designing fused glass so you can produce decorative coasters, light catchers and hangers while learning practical technique and creative skills.

The workshop fee includes specialist fusing glass to make two 10cm coasters or light catchers, a 10 x 5cm hanger and a small 4 x 4cm hanger or keyring. Alternatively, the smaller hangers can be replaced with a three-piece bunting. Your creations will need to be fired at the artist's studio and will be available to collect from Belmont House 14 days after the session. No previous experience is required and the workshop is suitable for anyone aged 16 and over. Please wear suitable clothing and closed toe shoes.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and additional glass can be purchased on the day at a small extra cost. The workshop cost is £55.00 per person. This particular session is now fully booked, but another date is scheduled for Friday 9th October. Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date.
