The Cookery Cabin - Home Ed Cooks

The Cookery Cabin runs Home Ed Cooks, a weekly cookery class for home educated children from 4 years old, held at Rodmersham Village Hall in Sittingbourne, Kent. Each session gives children the chance to prepare a sweet or savoury dish with a little help from an adult. All ingredients and aprons are provided, so families can simply turn up and enjoy hands on cooking together.

Classes follow a different recipe each week to introduce new ingredients and encourage tasting, with simple activities that explore how food grows and where it comes from. While dishes cook, children take part in short, age appropriate food education and tasting exercises that build confidence and broaden palates. Sessions are practical, friendly and designed to be accessible for home educated groups and individual families.

Sessions take place at Rodmersham Village Hall, Green Lane, Saint Patricks Row, Sittingbourne, ME9 0PS. The term ticket is priced at £11.00 per class.
