About this event

Join The Faversham Murder Club for a series of hands-on historical workshops where true-crime meets archival research. Led by Dr Graham Birrell, the creator of the popular A Very Kentish Murder evenings, the club examines original case files held at the National Archives to ask one central question: did the police catch the right person? Each week focuses on a real-life historical murder and invites participants to study the documents, assess witness statements and test alternative theories. Numbers are deliberately limited to keep the group small and interactive, so everyone is encouraged to take part in analysing the evidence and deciding what the facts really say.

Sessions run on 12 November, 19 November, 26 November, 3 December, 10 December and 17 December. There is a special offer: book all six workshops and get one free; to receive the discount add all workshops to your basket at checkout. The series is aimed at all true-crime lovers and fans of local history who enjoy detective work and careful source analysis. For bookings and enquiries call the Box Office on 01795 591691 or email bookings@thealex.org.uk.
