Turtle Tots

Turtle Tots at Orida Health, Bearsted Road, Maidstone (ME14 5AA) runs expert baby and toddler swimming classes for little ones from birth up to four years. These child-centred sessions build water confidence, promote early physical development and encourage social play in a warm, friendly environment. Classes are designed to be fun and sociable for both children and carers and must be booked in advance; no drop-ins are accepted.

The Turtle Tots programme uses gentle, developmentally appropriate activities that are adapted to each child’s individual needs. Over the course of the programme parents and carers are taught practical techniques to support independent swimming while tutors introduce important life-saving skills through play. Sessions include songs, routine-based activities and parent-led handling to strengthen early attachment and communication.

Turtle Tots teachers at this venue hold Swimming Teachers’ Association qualifications and receive extra training in early brain development and pre-verbal communication. Every member of staff has a current DBS check, safeguarding training and appropriate personal and business insurance, giving families reassurance about safety and standards.
