272 High St, Chatham, ME4 4BP
Join a community volunteer session in Chatham to help pack crochet kits for Willow's Rainbow Box, a project supporting families after pregnancy loss. This hands-on event focuses on assembling packs containing wool, a leaflet and a crochet hook to go into support boxes that help fulfil NHS orders and the self-referral requests we receive from families. No crocheting is required, so anyone who wants to help prepare these thoughtful items can take part.
The meet and pack is taking place at Nucleus Arts Centre & Cafe Nucleus and is open to people in the local area. Booking is essential and spaces are set to 10, so places are limited. Volunteers will work together in a relaxed environment to put the packs together and ensure each box is carefully prepared for distribution.
This is a great opportunity to give back to your community, meet others who care about supporting bereaved families and make a practical difference with a small time commitment. Whether you are a regular volunteer or trying a new way to support a local cause, your help will directly contribute to the project’s ability to fulfil orders and reach families in need. Please book in advance to secure your place.
