Worship Unplugged: Gospel Open Mic Night - Kent (Special Edition)

Join Worship Unplugged for a special gospel open mic night in Kent, an evening of live worship, gospel music, spoken word and community in the intimate setting of Asankabites Restaurant. Whether you want to share a song, a testimony, a poem or simply soak in the atmosphere, this relaxed event is centred on authentic worship, creativity and fellowship.

Doors open at 7.00pm with the event starting at 7.30pm on Saturday 14 March 2026. Slots for the open mic are limited and allocated on a first come basis, so please arrive early if you wish to sign up. Signing up does not guarantee a slot due to time limits, but organisers do their best to accommodate as many performers as possible. All content must be faith led and appropriate for a worship setting.

The venue provides a cosy restaurant atmosphere that encourages connection and reflection. Guests may purchase food and drinks from the venue and are asked to be respectful of the space and staff. Seating is limited, so early arrival is recommended. You do not need to perform to attend, everyone is welcome to come as they are and be part of a safe, welcoming worship space in Rochester, Kent.
