4-7 years (Maidstone) - Shooting Stars — 21 Together

Shooting Stars is a specialist group for children aged 4 to 7 in Maidstone that uses syndrome-specific approaches to learning to support early development. Sessions focus on literacy and numeracy alongside self-help and social-emotional skills, giving children practical strategies to build confidence and independence. Resources are provided to parents so learning can continue at home, and school staff are invited to meet the child and observe the techniques before the school year starts.

Groups run every other Saturday, excluding school holidays, from 25 April 2026 to 18 July 2026 for Term 3. Sessions operate between 09:00 and 17:00; individual sessions are one hour long and exact times will be confirmed by email. The project places teamwork at its heart, encouraging carers, professionals and educators to understand the child’s learning profile so the benefits are shared more widely. Venue: Maidstone Community Support Centre, Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH. This local, practical programme is designed to give children aged 4 to 7 targeted support in a friendly group setting while equipping families and school staff with clear strategies to continue progress beyond each session.
