Celebrating 100 years of Laurel & Hardy Presented by Neil Brand

Originally presented as part of Neil Brands 2026 centenary tour, Evening with Laurel & Hardy celebrated 100 years of the legendary comedy partnership. Using newly restored silent films and rediscovered rarities, Neil Brand brought classic pieces to life with demanding live piano improvisation, uncovering gems from titles such as Youre Darn Tootin, The Finishing Touch and The Second Hundred Years.

Neil is recognised as a foremost exponent of silent film accompaniment. His engaging, easy-going style combines personal insight into the birth of the cinema industry with improvised scores that highlight the humour and pathos of Laurel and Hardys work. Performances typically included extended film scenes, an audience Q&A and an after-show meet and greet for further conversation.
